Here is a quick description and cover image of book Diary of an Oxygen Thief written by Anonymous which was published in. Anyway if you enjoy dark looks at individuals that are constantly sarcastic, you might enjoy this book.Brief Summary of Book: Diary of an Oxygen Thief by Anonymous Imagine Dennis Reynolds, Don Draper, and Holden Caulfield all mixed together. The main character is very clearly a piece of shit though. This might be because I’ve read American Psycho but who knows. However, I didn’t feel as if the book was as depraved as I had been led to believe. Throughout though, he proves himself to be an unreliable narrator and the books has its humorous moments.īut this book was hyped up to me as something extremely disturbed and not for the faint of heart. Things pick back up when he meets a woman he genuinely cares about but is very cold / cruel to him. ![]() The first few pages really grip you in with a strong hook but falters after the narrator describes his 5th or 6th relationship. For those who never heard of it, it’s basically a character study on someone who emotionally abuses women that he casually dates. I want to start by saying I totally understand why people dislike this book, it isn’t for everyone. Example: Hello.Įxplanation of our link flairs Join our /r/bookclub Don't forget /new!
